ok..i opened (didn't save) an attachment on an email and made some changes to it, except I saved it but not as another file. I really need to find this file, i did run searches except they aren't finding anything. Is there a possible way how I can retrieve this file or where exactly did i save it?

Thanks

if you reopen the email, it should have saved your edits.

Actually, unless you did a "Save as..." your edits are not saved and you'll have to open your email attachment again and re-do your changes.
Before you go through all of that, the other option would be to look in your Temporary Files. (It should be in your C drive, folder name Temp.) It may or may not be in there.

Hope this helps,

When you do your search, go into advanced options and include hidden files and folders. I think Outlook keeps these in a folder under Temporary Internet Files.

The attatchment should still be with the original email as long as you didn't delete it.
