I just want people to know there is hope at the end of a prison sentence....Sometimes life throws us in certain situations so that we may be of help to others and we go through pain, denial and disappointments.....yet we can change that and prove to the whole world that we are not bad people(o.k. some are) but that we just made bad choices...

Yes, many people who have been in prison have turned their lives around. They are the heroic ones who overcame a lot of obsticles (from how they viewed themselves to how others and society views them to rebuilding their lives after getting out) to improve their lives. They are true heros and worthy of respect and honor.

Indeed, we all live by the choices we make. And, we have all made mistakes--some bigger than others, some more visible than others.

Becareful about throwing around terms like "situation," "circumstances," and the like. Those are already self-defeating because it takes power away from you. Rather, you give your power away and weaken yourself.

Life is what is. It's how we deal with what happens in life that shows our character.

Helping others (usually through our own bad examples) is what we humans are all about. We teach others and learn from everyone. It's what we choose to keep and learn from that moves us forward.

Keep moving forward, my friend.
