Just wondering if she really stands a good chance in the race...and what do you think the changes (if any) would be with a female president?

No.

2 reasons:

If Hillary was president, our recent history of presidents would be Bush, Clinton, Bush, and then Clinton. Are the Bush and Clinton families the ones who can run this country?

Second, I don't mind the idea of a female president, but only if she would be a good president. I think Hillary Clinton is a poor choice for President. The Presidency is too important to be seen as a category for breaking records.

If there was a female candidate running that shared most of my important political principles, and she was a strong leader, then I'd vote for her.

NO! Our country has come along way. Women have rights same as men do and that's great. (being a woman :) ) But its not only our country we must think about. Other countries don't feel the same way as ours does. Women are not equal to men. I think for us to elect a woman president, being Hillary Clinton or Jane doe would be seriously detrimental to our country. When in battle the first thing you look for is their weakest spot. They would see a female president as our weakest spot and we would get hit harder with terrorists. I realize we get hard now. I just think its going to be alot worse when other countries that see women as weak insignificant beings as a president. She may surprise everyone, But what if she don't. Our lives and way of life is ALOT to put on the line for an experiment and to go down in history.

I don't care one iota about the gender of a candidate. Hillary's disrespect for the right to property will ensure that she doesn't get my vote or the vote of most people in the general election. I seriously hope she gets the nod so she loses to Giuliani

I like the idea of a female president, and I like Hillary. I don't know why, but I wish there were other choices. I don't care about gender or race, but I would like a leader that doesn't carry a lot of past history and baggage with them to the White House. I would vote for her over a Republican candidate, but voting along party lines is what got us into this global mess that we're in now. I wish there was a real non-partisan leader in the running, someone that not only knows the best course for the country, but is able to make it so.

No. I wouldn't mind voting for a woman, but I would need a different woman candidate. I don't agree with Hillary's platform and feel that if she had such good ideas, she should have shared them with her husband instead of letting him ride Reaganomics to the ground.

Yes I will. She stands as good of a chance as anyone else. Who knows we've never had a female president before.

I'm sorry, I'd sooner be impaled upon a flaming spear. Nothing to do with the whole female president thing, the woman just frightens me at times (as does the though of giving either her OR bill 4-8 more years of influence in the goverment)
