I am preparing a move in two weeks and am spraying outdoor items with Raid since we have a lot of Black Widows in Southern Calif.... I do not want to accidentally take live or soon to be live spiders with me. If I spray all of my outdoor items & furniture, and miss removing an egg sack... will the babies die if only the exterior of the sack is sprayed with RAID?

man you sadist, why do you want to kill the spiders? Do you know they catch and est flys, gnats, mosquitos, etc. ? I hate those things alot worse than spiders. Its people like you that will cause the insects to revolt and exterminate humanity. You should be damn ashamed of yiourself.

I sprayed starter fluid on a black widow egg sack and female one time, and left, next day i checked, and the babies were everywhere, and so was the mom, it didn't even phase them, and they were drenched. I bet i used half a can on them.

I've heard that spraying eggs actually makes the babie more immune to that spray. Call a terminator.
