There are the standard items that every performance enthusiast begin with.
First make the engine breathe. A cold air intake using a low restriction air filter and intake tube will set you back about $75-250.00, depending on the manufacturer and the quality of the filter.
Next make the exhaust get this new air source out. Gibson, Magnaflow, Borla, all sell cat back systems for your truck. They run from $250-500.00.
By this time you have generally added 15% to 25% more horsepower. You can continue on with a chip upgrade, ignition mods, etc.
