my hair is just above the shoulders and it's not that it's to short to be curled...it's just for some reason i can't curl it and i have no clue why! i tried with an iron but the ends just come out crimped, i tried rollers and my hair looked way to 80s, and then i tried crimping it but my hair is to thick to crimp, please help!

I don't have much luck with curling irons either. My hair is so long so it just seems to pull itself out. What I have found that works is. . . . After washing my hair, I take small sections and roll it on my finger, then put a bobby pin in it to hold. Best way is to sleep with it like this so it can dry. After it's dried carefully take the bobby pins out and. . . . you'll have cute banana curls (Shirley Temple style). And it holds until it's washed again.

It seems like a lot of people with straight hair have this problem. I have the opposite...damn curly hair! You should looove your straight hair :-D
