I need help with a aim!!! Ok i have aim6.0 or sumthing like that and i made a new sn but i cant figure out how to get my old buddy list on to the new sn!!! PLEASE HELP AND ILL GIVE U BEST ANWSER IF IT WORKS!!!!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

o ya and i cant save the buddy list. this aim is soo messed up they need to fix it.

go to the old aim icon and sign on with your old sn then go to my aim then save buddy list then sign out sign into your new sn then go and click on my aim again then go to load buddy list then serach for where you saved it then it will load it again its much better than linking your sns when you dont want to use it

i dont kno if this works in 6.0 but i did it like 2 years ago, and i saved my buddlist, through the file, and like save setting or something, and then sign on to new SN and open it, and it should work, but i ono, i dont have 6.0

on the menu, click edit. then settings. in the settings section you should see a little section saying something about Linked Screen Names. Simply click on manage linked screen names, it will open another page where it asks for your other screen name. enter your info and link them. Restart AIM, and your other screen name will appear in a section in the window.

try export your settongs or contacts from the old version then import it in the new one
