At my highschool, our GPAs are out of 5.0.

I'm in all regular classes this term.
My current cummulative GPA going into the fourth term of school is a 4.03.
Third term ended today and i know i got: A,B,A,A in my regular classes. (giving me a possibility of a 4.75 gpa for the term)

My question is...how much would this 4.75 raise my cummulative GPA of 4.03?

find the average..

(4.75 + 4.03) / 2 = 4.39

heres the breakdown:
A = 5 points
B = 4 points
C = 3 points
D = 2 points
F = 1 point

so with the grades you have it's :
5+4+5+5 = 19 then divide by number of classes:4
19/4 = 4.75

then to get the two combined for a cummulative you
add the two (4.75 + 4.03) and divide by 2
equaling : 4.39!
