Its driving me nuts! Anytime I watch a video, say on youtube for example, it keeps stopping and I can never watch one straight through.

It's your connection speed.

On youtube, as soon as it starts, click the pause || button. It will continue downloading, you will see the progress bar fill up. When it's full click the play > button and it will play through without stopping.

That may work with other video sites as well.

when you are seing a file on the internet it is being downloaded in temporary files then plays every part alone
this download speed depends on your internet connection type
and accodingly it's speed
try download the video || to you pc then play it
if you don't want to try temprorary pause the video until the download is complete

it's probably just loading if your internet is slow it can take longer, you could also try restarting your computer.
