honestly i think it looks dumb, the studios are just following a formula like with coach carter and remember the titans. it isn't even based on a true story, it says based on true events. I think it looks wack, i like Terrance Howard though

the movie doesn't come out until tomorrow but will probably not do well as america is not enthusiastic with movies starring a predominantly black cast and portraying black males in a positive light. i mean look at the oscars who won forrest whitaker for playing edi amin and terrence previously nominated for playing a pimp so while the story is inspirational and it's gets props for representing my hometown it will be in video stores sooner than later. black people do not support black movies and neither does america unless it has a more respected black actor like will smith. i mean eddie lost to a 70 something old dude wasn't even in the movie that long.

Yea, I saw it in Theaters and from someone who is an avid jane austin fan I would have to say it was a very good adaptation with excellent acting. It really draws you in and brings to life characters like Mr. Darcy, who in my opinion can be very hard to play.
