Not only possible: it is sure. Any life form on Earth share a common ancestor with any other. For sure you share a common ancestor with me, but also with your dog. And with that mosquito that is now flying out of the window.

The question is not "if" but "when in the past". Well, if we restrict the question to Homo Sapiens only, the sure common ancestor of all humans is believed to have lived in Africa about a couple millions years ago. Since that time, human groups traveled and mixed many times, so you will likely have much more recent ancestors in common with most of us.

In other words, we are all relatives.

Go back far enough and we definitely share common ancestors. Since I have some french and german, we are probably don't have to go back that far.

Human history suggests that we all began in Africa, thousands of years ago. Migration patterns, carbon dating and archaeological digs support a common ancestry for everyone... so, in a nut shell, yep, we're probably related. However, I'm a brown guy!

Go far enough back, and potentially everyone shares a common ancestor with you.

I remember hearing somewhere that everyone is 1/64th everyone's cousin. I'm sure it was crap, but it would be interesting if that was the case. We all had to come from somewhere whether it be evolution or adam and eve
