every one has there own way of doing things. so OK in some situations there may be a right way or wrong way but i would say on the whole there is no right way or wrong way just different ways.

People always want to say that this is right and this is wrong as if there is a rule book written by God which says so.
I feel that there is NO right way or wrong way. Everyone has the right to do the things their way and if it is really wrong they have the right to find it out by themselves.
It is now known that people eat with hand (no spoon or fork) and chopsticks and many other not usual way and it is not called barbaric anymore. But there was a time when it was.
People cant accept different. But that doesnt make different wrong.
Eat with foot...would be ergonomically difficult and straw may not be strong enough to hold food up..but if you want to try it....you should be your own judge.

I think that as long as it's working for you and isn't a hazard to other people, you just keep on keepin on with your bad self until someone gives you good enough reasons to stop.
For example:
I sit indian style all the time. Have ever since I was a kid. The only time I don't sit indian style is while I'm driving or in a job interview or something like that.
Sometimes teachers or relatives would try to get me to stop, but it's never hurt anyone or anything and I like it this way. It hasn't stopped me from going to college and getting a good job. It hasn't negatively affected my social life. My boyfriend thinks it's a cute quirk.
It's just another part of who I am. I am me, and this is how I roll, and I'm happy with that. If you've got a problem with it, that sounds like a personal problem to me, because it's not my problem, it's yours. And it's only a problem for you because you want it to be. And what a miserable life it must be to have to worry about other people all the time instead of worry about yourself. Some people really have no life. That's what it comes down to.
I think that in order for something to be a "wrong" way, there's got to be good reasons why. Like, killing your wife is a wrong way to solve your differences. Why? Because it hurts someone else, can get you jail time or worse, and it doesn't solve your communication issues and other problems in the relationship.
You see what I mean? How can someone say that something is "wrong" without good reasons why?
I think that whatever your opinion is, whatever you think, if you're going to label things or take a stance on something, you have to know WHY you are deciding that way. WHY do you think it's "wrong" or "right?"
WHY should your kid have to put his shoes away when they were sitting right next to yours in the middle of the floor? If you can explain reasons WHY, then you can argue anything you want. "Because" is not a good enough reason and neither is "I said so." When you try raising kids and they get old enough to figure out "because I said so," THEN what are you going to do? You're going to lose control of the kids because they will see no reasons WHY they should listen to you. If you raise your children with good reasons WHY they should behave and do as you ask, they'll keep doing what you tell them to long after they've moved out.
It's called REASON. It's such a key factor in logic. And it's the key factor in getting anyone to do anything. If you can come up with good enough reasons, you can say whatever you want is wrong or right, just be able to back it up with reason and then who's to say YOU'RE wrong?
So nyah. =)

Some things do not fall into right or wrong categories. These things are not moral issues and are based on preference. For example:
1. Chopsticks vs. forks
2. Classical vs polka
3. Vanilla vs Chocolate etc etc
Other things, like murder and rape, are moral issues and they can definitely be called wrong. And there are things that are always right like charity and forgiveness and self-sacrifice.

There is a right way and a wrong way, according to my religion. Just not for absolutely every little detail of life.

No, we exist in a REAL world, not a world that we can compromise in or shape at our own will. Mistake is a manifestation that we did wrong, success if we did right.

Any way you act is the right way as long as it does not hurt, endanger or nauseate anyone else.
