You didn't say anything about the quality of the relationship with your husband. That is what is important. Marriage between faiths can be especially difficult, but it can work out. A big difference will be made by how religious each of you are. If you do not actively practice your faiths, it will not be as big a deal. Also, you do not say where you live relative to your families. More pressure will be put on your relationships if you are near your families.

Love is very important, but there is more to a successful marriage than that. See a marriage counselor with your husband even if you aren't currently having any problems so you can identify potential future problems and deal with them now to avoid any issues that could destroy your relationship.

If you family truly loves you, they will not disown you. Many relatives make idle threats as a way of controlling the people they love. If they do abandon you, then they don't love you.

I feel that a marriage will only be successful if there is mutual trust between the couples. Whether your relationship will be sucessful depends on how both of you is going to handle such situation as it could be very tricky. As outsider we don't really know much of the details, so we can only provide very limited answer.
