Does anyone know what are the options for birth control. My girlfriend don't want to take pills and am not forcing her to, but Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that I have to stop because of the risk of getting her pregnant. She says she is gonna gain a lot fo weight if she takes them and that it has side effects. But I need to find a good solution for birth control .. because there are many times that I dont have the rubber n we got to stop. HELP!!

Yes I tried Condoms which I got to say I dont like but use them but .there are times that it just happens and its hard to say NO

Your girlfriend should consider an intrauterine device. This is something that is administered by her OB/GYN. She will have to be fitted for it, but, it should only take a little time to be inserted in correctly. This way, she won't have to worry about taking a pill everyday, and intrauterine devices can last up to 10 years!
Not everyone is hit with the side effects of birth control. But, she can either gain a little weight with the birth control, or gain about 25-30 lbs from being pregnant. Let her choose.

Condoms..shmondoms. Get some foam brother. You're in a committed relationship so STDs aren't going to be a problem. Its just as effective and you don't have to lose the feeling of a bareback ride.
Theres the IUD also but for a less intrusive solution, just go get the foam.

If she doesn't want to consider hormonal birth control (including the pill, the patch, the shot, etc) your options are condoms, diaphragm, or IUD. She should discuss these options with her gynecologist to see what is best for her. She can also discuss a low hormone birth control pill if she wants.

condoms. its really not that big a deal. its that or a baby. pick one.
she could get an iud. but chances are she wont. if she dont want a shot/or take a pill then im pretty sure she wont want anybody sticking anything up her vagina. i know i wouldnt. i didnt take birth ctrl either cuz of all the side effects.
no glove no love.i dont care how much u dont like it.

well, there's spermicide cream that you can buy almost anywhere (walmart is easy place to buy).....nuva-ring which is a plastic ring that pretty much has the same stuff pills have and go right up to the cervix (very top of vagina) and stays for a month....the shot which i think is good for 3 months....i do believe theres also a newer thing that is implanted into the cervix and protects her from pregnancy for 5 years. she should speak with a doctor about options....

Stop having sex!! Best form of birth control I know! And the pill has good things about it..You know when that time of the month is coming, and your face doesn't break out as much. But stop having sex, best answer I can give you!

not a lot of people gain weight with the pill, most of them gain weight when they have the shot. but some others are the nuva ring or maybe a diaphram.

an iud or even the nuva ring..just have her ask her gyn or the local health department..and she wouldnt gain weight on the pill...i was on it for 5 years and stayed the same weight throughout..
