I'm going to try-out for the cheerleading squad in my school and I want to know everything you need to know to make the squad. I'm trying out for an easy one, the Freshman cheerleading squad, at least that's what the older girls said it was the easiest squad compared to Junior Varsity and Varsity. If possible can you give me a link to a site that says what you need to know.

Here's a great site that shows you how to do jumps.
http://www.cheerhome.com/public/jumps.as...
Here's a site that shows you basic arm moves.
http://www.mspineapple.com/motions.html...
REMEMBER: With all of your moves, keep it super sharp. Don't anticipate it either. Pretend that each move is it's own and that each one is very important!
Also the most important thing about being a cheerleader is.....SMILE. Nobody is going to be pumped (including your tryout judges) if you don't smile!!! =)

Hate to mention but when your dad may not aid you, I wish that your mother will. I am a center tuition cheerleading train and cheerleading isn't inexpensive. Of direction center schoolers would not have jobs to pay for camp, uniforms, and many others. and even supposing you would get a role, you shouldn't have time to paintings and move to after tuition practices, conferences, and video games.... and recall assignments. You will want anybody to aid you pay the charges. Is your cheerleading squad conventional or game? A conventional squad is the squad that does the pep rally, cheers at video games from the sidelines, and might do a part time efficiency. A game squad is a squad that travels across the country competing. Most of the game squads are co-ed, particularly expert, enormously elaborate stunts, killer flips, you get the factor. Its just like the Bring it On Squads. If your tuition has a conventional squad, all you must do is have a few sort of rhythm and get a former cheerleader or one who has already made the squad to educate you. You would move to a UCA camp. They will educate you the fundamentals of cheerleading. I consider this would be the great alternative. If your squad is a game squad, your possibilities of creating the squad are very slender except you will have had years of gymnastics. Whatever occurs, I desire you the great of good fortune. Keep attempting and paintings difficult. Remember Cheerleading is difficult paintings, if it was once any simpler, it could be referred to as Football!

I'm a Varsity cheerleader, and yes, Freshman is easier compared with it.
You basically need to have 1 chant, 1 cheer, an 8-count dance, 3 jumps and your best tumbling skill. That doesn't have to be a handspring or anything, it could be a cartwheel or round off.
Also, you need to be spirited, energetic and smiley!!
Good luck!!

Well first of all, you should know how to do a round off and cartwheel. If you know a backhand spring you'll have more of a chance to make it on the team. For jumps, you should know a toe touch and a hurkie, maybe a pike. Remember to smile, make facial expressions, wear shorts and a tank top or a plain t-shirt thats your school colors, have your ponytail high with a bow that's your school's color, be energetic, sharp on your moves, and loud.
