Did you attend sixth grade in a middle school or an elementary school? I myself attended sixth grade at an intermediate school (grades 4-6). I liked it because I only had two teachers, one for math, science, and social studies and one for language arts. It felt more like an elementary school. I just don't think it's necessary to send sixth graders to middle school.

I went to an elementary school (Kindergarten through sixth grade). I also think it was a lot better to go there than a middle school, because in elementary school, you get to be with many different age groups. I too had only two teachers, and I don't think sixth graders should have 2 stress with changing classes every 45 minutes and having many teachers, because they are to young for that. Last year, when I was in seventh grade, I thought it was a good time to make the transition between elementary school and junior high school.

My 6th grade was still in an elementary setting but they did set us apart from the lower grades (Voorhees Elementary).
