Where would you place an industrial dump, an aquifer for city supply, a nuclear power plant, a shopping mall, a wilderness area, and a residential area? The map has different materials that are present and I know placement depends on the environment.

Since this is a hypothetical map I will give you a hypothetical answer. I would place the industrial dump up there by the whatchacallit, an aquifer for city supply over there by the thingamabob, a nuclear power plant by the lake in the desert, the shopping mall over their in the boonies, a wilderness area in the urban sprawl and a residential area in the middle of nowhere.
