Despite how much I miss Dana, I do love the new season, and think it is the best since the first season. Except Bette's face is always shiny...with all the Gucci and Prada, can they not afford a makeup person?

I loved Jodi, excellent character addition. I really loved Angus's character pre-breakup, the whole nanny thing was out of character, should never have happened. Tina and Bette are finally getting along, which is great, 'cause they make better friends than anything else. Alice is wonderful, as usual, and her new g/f is an interesting twist to the show.
I never really got into Papi, hopefully they will do something with her character...Shane and Paige, well that is just hot...too bad the kid had to leave, although he was oddly quiet anyhow. Thank you Powers That Be for finally giving Max a decent character...has been much more interesting since the testosterone evened out. Helena, it's good to see you poor. The only other person I can think of off of the top of my head is Jenny, which despite how much I was attracted to her craziness at first (and how much I loved the Stacey Merkin vagina wig comment, still laughing over that one), she is starting to drive me a little crazy. She has to have a huge breakdown at some point. Marina...well, I think we all got over her when she left...we miss Lara more...and Carmen...

I think that's it. Do I sound obsessed? That show is freakin addictive...

I love your question! I love the show in general. This season has had some very interesting plots and intriguing character expansions and additions.
I love Alice more than ever. It's good to see her back to herself and in loving relationship. I am totally crushing on her girl Tasha too.The whole military side plot is interesting and timely without being preachy.
Max's character is amazing this year. The actress that portrays Max 9 (Daniela Sea) is very talented. I love how the show is exploring the pre-op trans man situation.
I have always hated Jenny... still do. She is the one character that I wish they would write off the show.
Shane has grown on me this season. I loved how they have matured her and made her less self absorbed. Her love interest, Paige does nothing for me and feels very "plastic" The Boy's that portrayed Shane's brother and Paige's sons are both poorly miss cast and their roles are not well developed.
I hate Jodi... It's too much work for Bette and it's way too much work for the audience to deal with her character ( sorry I know mean) There is NOTHING remotely sexy or hot about Jodi and I can't look when Bette hooks up with her( sorry)
The whole Phylis thing and her husband has been a little funny/interesting.
I am not feeling Papi at all. she's a bad stereotype. The whole Kit / Papi thing is not hot nor believable I am not into Angus either.
Helena's character this season is weird. I have a hard time beliving that a person as worldly as Helena would allow herself to be bamboozled as much as she has been this season.
Overall an awesome show. This is the fourth season and it just keeps getting better and better.

I love all seasons of the L Word... losing Dana was hard for me - I really liked her. This Papi character is something else, I think eventually she's going to fall hard for Shane, her competitor. I don't think Kitt will go there with Papi, she makes Papi act different. I loveeeeeee Tasha... I can so relate to her character. I wish I was a member of the L Word cast. Bette will always be my favorite, even during her psycho moments.

This is actually probably my favorite season so far. The only parts i havent liked is the new Helena, i liked her better when she was a rich ******. And i dont like Carmen not being there. She was cute AND she was a good representation of latina women.
