Hi, Lt. Dan! :) Okay--just remember that women like to be chased after and taken care of like in the first few days. However, they all also still have 'little girl' in them, and like simple, sweet little things.
Romantic dinner and dancing is always good if you say something like, "Go put on that sexy black dress I love--I'm taking you out!"
Or, I'm not sure you've made it to the other side of the ocean yet, so..... It's spring. Have some pretty spring flowers (other than roses) delivered to her and have them write something on the card like..."you're prettier than spring" You get the idea.
Or, make up a series of really short funny love poems (more memorable and endearing than long ones) and mail them one a day the old fashioned way.
"You make my heart flutter,
Around you, I stutter....."
Pick a ground flower, press it in a book, then mail it. Knowing someone was thinking about you during a simple, quiet moment outside is one of the sweetest things there is.

It's hard to say without knowing what the person likes. . .I would love it, for example, if my husband came home from work one day and announced he was taking the kids out for a few hours. I'd have the whole house to myself, which would be a nice treat, believe me. Other than that, I'd say taking care of something on her "to do list", and then telling her you did it so she'd have more time to spend with you.

Sorry it took me so long to answer this, we were out n' about. Okay ,well, my wife loves it when I run her a bath, light candles in the bathroom and make sure her towel is freshly warm from the dryer. I give her all the time away from our daughter that she needs for this. It's her #1 favorite way to be pampered.
