If you have a locking tremolo on your guitars then they are to change the strings. The other allen wrench is for adjusting the truss rod... something that you shouldn't do unless you know what you're doing.

NEVER use the truss rod to adjust string buzzing until all other adjustments have been checked. This is by far the most common serious problem we see when guitars come into the shop... attempting to adjust action usinf the truss rod.... no no no.

The alan wrench is usually included for the truss rod adjustment on your guitar. If you haven't done this before, I recommend that you just keep it in the case and get a professional (from a local music store) to make any adjustments.

The truss rod adjustment helps to correct issues with neck bowing and high action/fret buzzing.

The wrench can be used to adjust the tension of and fasten down the strings.

there is usually a rod (truss) inside the neck of the guitar that can be adjusted to keep the instrument from warping....the rod is also used to to adjust buzz in the frets....
