You pull the fuse and hook an ohmmeter up between the main wire and ground to see the short. Then you start disconnecting stuff until the short goes away to find out what's causing it.

Still have that pesky problem? What kind of bike do you have that only has one fuse? Does it blow as soon as you turn the key or is this an every once in awhile problem? Can you tell if its related to anything IE happens when you use the blinkers, or when you step on the brakes, or when you turn the bars left or right? Does the bike have any aftermarket accessory lights on it? Are you replacing it with the correct amperage fuse? Drop me a note if you'ld like geo46er@yahoo.com

First ...look ....

if you cant find it... trace a wire to where it goes...& mark where it connects ..then disconnect it...

do this to anything that is easy to get to....

plug in fuse....if it blows then its not all the things you have dissconnected....(that narrows the problem down a fair bit)..
if it dosnt blow...start plugging stuff back in...when it blows ..thats the problem...
