my son is nearly 5 months old now, whenever we feed him he just will not feed with us holding him upright, we have tried every position but he will only feed if we lay him down on our laps, or on the ground laying down or in his bouncer when he is being fussy. I am stumped as to why he won't feed the regular way......has anyone else had this problem???
If so any tips or advice would be great...also, does anyone else have a baby that won't sleep on their back???

PLEASE HELP!!

This is such a common age for babies to do this with their feeds, whether it's bottle or breast.
I think this when you need to keep his feed times at regular times in the day (like around the same times) and also to make sure he is sleeping well in the day and at night, as they get very distracted from good sleep patterns

I have a little girl in my in-home daycare that will ONLY take a bottle if being cradled in your arms. I often have to kind of juggle babies to feed two or even three at a time so it can be tricky when I can't put her in the bouncy seat next to me and hold her bottle or lay her in my lap. I guess it's just a preference thing...

My daughter hates sleeping on her back! She loves sleeping on her side or tummy, but I get so scared and am constantly checking her. However, I've come to realize that SIDS can strike any position, and there doesn't seem to be one that is truly best. Yes, now we are told on their back, but just 10 years ago, it was on their side, and before that, it was never on the back, always on the tummy. I normally put my daughter on her side in the middle of her sleep positioner. that way, she can't quite make it to her belly.
