What ever it is you are selling a bit more knowledge about the product and the consumer always helps.
Is it an impulse purchase item or a must have.
Do not over sell, be genuine and listen to what the customer has to say.

Learn all you can about Sales. Learn the Consultive and Assumptive Sell techniques. Those are both the best. Make more calls. Sales is a numbers game. The more calls you make the more sales you will have. Learn to close the sale. You would be surprised the number of sales people that do not ask for the sale. Good Luck!
