I'm due for my ultrasound in a couple days.... but the appointment I chose was a bad day. My husband wont be able to make it cause he was schedule to work since three of his co-workers have requested off. He wants me to reschedule the ultrasound so he can be there.. but I've been waiting for so long for this... This will be my first one and I will find out the sex of our child. SHOUL I WAIT for him or just go on and do it and have him look at the picture instead. I'm so excited to know...

You should call and see if you can reschedule it. Do this right away since appointments book really fast. I hope you can get it changed so your husband can be there. He is probably just as excited as you are. In the event that he is not able to be there, maybe you can call him during the ultrasound. I hope he gets the chance to be there. Thats one of those things you don't want to miss.

You definitely need to reschedule it. Think of how excited you are, now think about your husband, he is the father of the baby just as much as you are the mother...he deserves to have the opportunity to see it first hand. There is nothing as amazing as that first peek into that mysterious person in there and he should be there. You get the miracle of carrying the baby and feeling it grow and move, he doesn't get that, so give him what you can. You'll be just ask excited in another week or two, I promise, it'll be worth the wait when you see your baby for the first time...together :)
