Cheaters should never be rewarded for evil deeds. He has managed to garner an impressive, be it a chemically enhanced career. He has knowingly used various forms of drugs in order to take unfair advantage over his peers. This is not the act of an honorable man. He has shown disrespect to the fans, his teammates but more importantly the game of baseball. He lacks integrity as well. For all these reasons he should never be allowed to join the hall of fame.

This is an interesting question, because before Bonds started using performance-enhancing drugs (around 1999), he was a certain Hall of Famer. The question, then, is whether his cheating since that time should disqualify him. I would say yes - his cheating over the past 7 or 8 years has made a mockery of a number of records, as well as skewing the game's competitive balance.

Before he started on the juice, Bonds was one of the best players the game has ever produced. By using steroids, he made himself into a player better than anyone could be without cheating. For that, he should be banned from the game and kept out of the Hall.

He should get in. There is no smoking gun regarding steroid use (i.e.: a positive test). However, it's up to the HOF voters. As he stands, he'll break the HR record and record 3000 hits, not to mention being the only member of the 500/500 HR/SB club, which are all locks for me if I had a vote.

Yes, he should be in the HOF. Gee whiz, why don't people look a little more into the news and see that there is still no solid proof the he took steroids. Just look at Giambi, Palomar, Sosa, McGwire....all said they took steroids. So how is it that they should be allowed into the HOF?

i hate the man. i do with all of my heart. i think marc mcgwire should be a HOF. personally, i do think barry used steroids. but u have to have talent to hit that ball. yes, he should be HOF. but will be voted in first time? probably not.

PS would u say that a rock artist shouldnt be in the rock and roll HOF because he used drugs to make music? 90% of rock bands in the HOF did.

not anymore.

If they had a hall of fame for making contact or drawing walks then he's a first balloter because he's great at both.

But given the whole steroids/hgh situation, has become devalued to the game.

Definitely. He was already a HOFer before he took steroids. You could almost make the argument that he is the greatest baseball player ever. I do not agree with this but you could definitely make the argument.

NO, because the steriods will mess the beginning of his career up nobody will look at that just the steriods I don't like Bonds never have-never will but before the steriods he was a good solid player.....

He was good when he was young and didn't take steriods. He stole lots of bases. But, when he took steriods it all changed. His 1998 stats up to 2007 are all from steriods. I would have to say he will get into HOF but, I hope he doesn't.

Who once said that image was everything? His image is damaged beyond repair with steroid allegations, this will, God willing, keep him out of the Hall of Fame
