Hey I have just used some WD-40 on my bike cause its kind of rusted. I was wondering how long I should wait for it to work and/or If I should wipe it off (if I do, how long after I've sprayed it should I wipe?) Thanks

WD-40 is not a rust remover, I hope you know that? It will only loosen frozen parts and dry up wet wires. You can go ahead and wipe it off right away, as it will not do anything one way or another for the rust.

Take some steel wool and rub the rust off while the WD-40 is on there. It alone will not remove rust.
