If we set the lower limit at say 75, we wouldn't have to worry about Fox news viewers influencing elections. If we set the same limit for election to public office, we'd have many fewer Republicans as well...

Actually, if you could find a way to measure wisdom, and required people who vote to have it, no liberal would ever be elected to anything again. If you required public officials to have it, there wouldn't be a dumbocratic party any more.

Unfortunately, plenty of very intelligent people can have some very wrong ideas about politics. There is no intelligence difference between Republicans and Democrats.

They tried something like this once. It was used to keep black people from voting in the South. That didn't work out so well.
