is there something wrong with my chinese dwarf hamster if it clings to the corner of cage and nibbles all day?

Well you should maybe want to put some things in his cage for him to chew on or even a wheel. Like wooden blocks, card board etc. But other than that no, nothing is wrong with him. He might even be just bored!
