The boss called the employees in for a meeting and fired me in front of them. That was the only reason for the meeting. I live in Oregon. Was this legal? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Actually, if you think about it, it's pretty funny.

A meeting JUST to fire you??!!
Wow! What did you DO?

Depending on the reason you got fired. If you have been negligent or sloppy then he can fire you with just cause. He was trying to make an example of you in front of you'r co-workers. If you didn't do anything then you can fight him, but if he has a reason then you're screwed, sorry hun. You might be able to go on unemployment.

I would say that's entirely legal (sorry!) - what would you accuse him of? Humiliating you? He could say he called the meeting so that everyone was aware of your termination.

Nope not at all.
A boss can not fire you unless he/ she has a legitimate reason.
you can go to court if he fires you and doesn't have a legitimate reason.
