What is the most mind-blowing fact you have ever heard?

By mind-blowing I mean something that is so unbelievable it is difficult to even comprehend. I would like it to be true too. Theories are usually good.

in the book Future Shock - the author states that (in 1970) of all the people who have ever lived on the planet earth -

1/2 are alive today!

Anything relating to infinity.
Examples:
Infinity-Infinity=0
Infinity-x=infinity
infinity/2=infinity
Transversing to the infinite (Anything that has a beginning can never become infinity)
