how do you download things to your computer when it says permission not granted?

Your permissions may be messed up..

if you are on Internet explorer.. go to another computer.. and try downloading firefox or opera.. then put it on your computer.. then try to download stuff..

it /should/ work.. if not it could be a firewall problem... etc.
