this is my favorite movie ever! its so funny yet quite meaningful. the actors are so good at a young age.

Yeah, I love this movie. The "girl" version would be the movie "Now and Then" with rosie odonnell, demi moore, Tom hank's wife, & melanie griffith.

I think I'm one of the few people that has never seen this movie. My husband tells me that it's a great movie and I keep meaning to rent it, but always forget. But he loves it and everytime someone brings it up, he tells me how I'm missing out by having never seen it.

My sister and I used to watch this all the time when we were kids. In fact, at one point we had in memorized and used to go around reciting the entire movie, from beginning to end. My sister was usually Gordie and Vern, and I was Chris and Teddy.
We were weird.

Charlie Sheen wasn't in the movie.
It is a great movie, I love it as well!
