Does anyone know a good place for poetry contests, i mean online. And the prizes should be good too.!

I can't believe people still recommend poetry.com-- it is a known scam! They will print any gibberish that you send them... so long as you can pay for a copy of an "anthology" that it will be in.

"Writer's Market" lists a lot of contests, along with magazines, journals, publishers, and agents. They are the best resource to find places to submit your poems. Your local library should have a copy in the reference section for you to take a look at!

The back pages of writing magazines usually have contests. If you have an affiliation with a local college, the department chair would know of contests he or she could recommend.
