Vermont? I searched for "vermont" in answers and came back with so many negative comments about the amazing place i live. Most of them were about Judge Cashman, but others said Vermonters are rude and they never saw a smile when they were here. Do people really think Vermonters are this horrible? I have always thought of our state as people's second homes, where they always felt comfortable and at ease. Am i really that wrong?

What I've noticed is that a lot of people are basing their opinions of our state on the clips they see on CNN and the likes.
Yesterday's news story about Vermont being in the top 10 safest places to live--- that says a lot more about it than those who post their complaints here.
Top 10 Most Dangerous states:
Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Maryland, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alaska, Florida, California, Louisiana
Safest:
North Dakota, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana, Iowa, Wisconsin, West Virginia.
I think that says a lot!

I have never been there but I really do want to go there because I understand that Vermont has one of the highest ranked public school systems in the nation. I want to see what all the smart people look like.

I've never been there but I haven't heard anything bad about it, only good! I live in Texas where supposedly the people are so friendly.....hahaha.....big lie!!
