People Take The Handwriting As A Big Part Of A Person's Personality But I Think That It Is All Taken A Bit To The Extreme, Just Because Your Handrwiting Is Messy .. I Dont Think Reflects AnyThing On Your Personality.

Your handwriting is 'messy'? My husband's handwriting is so BAD that HE can't even read it ... so he 'prints' anything and everything he does now, except for his 'signature.' He is a 'sweet, gentle, LOVING man' who works hard every day and comes home and cooks our dinner (I am retired, and stay at home), then he washes my back when I take a bath. What does his 'messy handwriting' have to do with his 'personality'? NOTHING. Neither does yours have anything to do with your personality. I have what I am told is 'really beautiful handwriting' ... but to me it looks as if it was done by an 'uptight fourth grader' who is 'obsessed with good grades.' I'm 56 years old, and I find my 'handwriting' embarrassing.
Yes, handwriting can show some 'generalities' about people and their personalities ... but MOST of what it shows is simply how good the teacher was who first taught you to write in 'longhand' ... and perhaps your teacher (3rd grade) taught you something MUCH MORE IMPORTANT and didn't care all that much about 'handwriting' when she taught you and your class mates. Stop 'worrying' that your 'messy handwriting' says that YOU are a 'messy person' or that you are 'poorly organized' or anything BAD ... and take a 'good look at your life, what you do now, and what you want to do in the future.' THAT is where you can 'see' how 'good a person' you are, and you can 'change it' if you don't like what you find, by simply starting to 'be' that 'good person' ...

We are almost the same in a way.
My normal writing is also messy especially if I am trying to catch up with the lectures for notes. It's just like stenographic notes and even myself can not read it sometimes.
If I have time, however, I can have a good penmanship such as when writing a friend or somebody whom I don't want to decipher my penmanship. I mean, this is really handwriting and not handwriting by printing out the letters.
Your personality can be established more if you included a sample of your handwriting.
Anyway, I think people who write messy handwriting are busy people, a little bit perfectionist or organized (not in writing), want to achieve more or ambitious, knowledgeable in many subjects, hardworking, industrious, a leader, semi-outgoing but friendly, intelligent and smart.
Good luck. May you be acting that way but if not try to trace that image.

OK. You have really opened a can of worms!
First. If your handwriting is messy, you are a happy person.
2. You have a short attention span, but love details.
3. You were bored during your early education because the classes were too easy.
4. Do you really want to hear this? You have hang ups! Don't let that bother you though because we all do!
Have a good life and don't ever let 'em know your sweat'n.

So, your handwriting is messy? So what? I wouldn't care if your handwriting was messy. It just shows that you need to
work on it. It means your personality is fast. Sometimes, you
write too fast and it gets messy and then you get a habbit of
doing it. Nothing bad. I have friends with very very very very
messy handwriting and their personalities are GREAT! So, I
hope that this advice helps! Tell us how it goes and good luck!!!

Good question. My writing is also very messy - I've been told lots of things such as it shows I am a messy person in general & I'm always in a hurry. I suppose both are quite true but not sure if that applies to everyone with messy handwriting!

Two things:
(1) You knew early on that a tidy handwriting is the sign of long hours wasted on homework...
(2) You have a good memory, which allows you to recall most of the things you penned down, no matter how messy your notes are. Thus you are not under immense pressure to improve your writing.

The fact that your handwriting is messy does not mean that you have any personality flaws what-so-ever! If you are unhappy with your handwriting, you can change that!
I had sloppy handwriting most of my life and it embarassed me. I made a personal decision to work on making my handwriting better. I practiced over and over writing my letters (just like 1st grade) and my writing definitely improved. I actually have people compliment my handwriting now and that is nothing short of amazing! lol!
Don't be too hard on yourself...maybe you're just in a hurry. Slow down, concentrate and practice and you WILL improve your handwriting as well as your image!
Good luck!

I don't actually think that your handwriting has anything to do with your personality. I have changed my style of ahndwriting probably at least 5 times last week, and I have not changed my personality one bit. It doesn't really matter. When kids are born, they have no handwriting, it doesn't mean they don't have a personality yet! I think that you are taking this weirdly if you will..

Many types of people write messy,, I'm not sure why ,, I don't understand , it may be a short cut kinda like speeding in a car! It takes a little bit more time to write well ! I think it is more a habit established at an early age,,, rather than a personality thing! I write very neat I take pride in my writing, I know that it gets noticed , say like on a job application or something,, I have been told by the interviewer they picked mine due to the neatness of it! So it pays to slow down ,, !!
