What else can a EMT Certification be used for besides EMS Work ?

Well, I've worked in jails, and I know of a few prisons that will hire EMT's and paramedics. Some clinics hire them. I've even worked in hospitals, ER's, and on the floor of L&D. But if you decide to work in these types of fields, it's better pay and not so much "aid" work if you get your LVN at least. (my opinion though) Hope this helps ya.
