What kind of music device should I buy?

Question

I am 14 and my parents don't like the idea of subscribing to I-tunes, so an I-pod is not an option. I need something that isn't ridiculously expensive. It doesn't need to have a TON of memory, maybe 2GB. I have tried looking on the internet, but I don't really know what to search for. Any help would be greatfully appreciated, and maybe some suggestions on where is best to download music inexpensively once I get it.

I would say get the sansa sandisk e200
its small but plays videos pictures music and has an fm radio as well as voice recorder
you can subscribe to a download site like rhapsody where you pay 14.99 a month for unlimited music to put on it
or you can put cd's on your computer and transfer them onto it
and its not very pricy either
it comes in 2, 4, 6 and 8 gigabyte models

Well, you can always use Limewire or Morpheus to download music, as for the MP3 player, ever heard of Creative.

Just so you know you can get music onto your IPOD wihout every buying music from ITunes. I have an Ipod and have never downloaded from ITunes. you can get music from CDs you already own, or music downloaded on any other download site and just drag them into your itunes library.

you dont have to subscribe to itunes if you dont have a credit card you might just want to buy a gift card for itunes they sell them in $15, $20, and $50 options thats what i do.
