i live in the u k and want to know if i can get hold of any video tapes or dvds of the soap santa barbara?

Why would you want that??? Do you know there are more than 10000 episodes....if you really need this I would try ebay...amazon...do you even know if the DVDs exist?

that soap last aired in the late 80's or early 90's it's been off so long that i couldn't even tell you. try going to www. nbc.com and see if there's a link to ask questions a/b defunct(cancelled) shows from earlier yrs. but it was way before dvd's or try. www.soapnet.com. soapnet is a cable station that is dedicated to soaps old and new so you might have better luck there. i'm going to check and if i'm right. i'll edit my answer to include the info.
