You would either have to get wireless card for the desktops, if they can become wireless. or get a router that will connect two desktop computers and the use the laptop wirelessly.

If the pc's are within cable distance of the Linksys plug them in with ethernet cable (cat 5e). You can have 4 pc's and many laptops attached to the same router without having to add any switches. If the pc's are not in a location practical to running the cable you can install pci or usb wireless adapters. You can find these on many websites, they are very common. My personal suggestion is Newegg. Usb is the simplest way to go about doing this. Keep in mind that walls and floors between the pc and the router will degrade the signal.
Do not purchase an adapter that is strictly 802.11b, go for 802.11g. G is backwards compatible to B, but B when used on a G network will restrict all access to B speeds.
Hope this helped.

Sure, use that. I assume you are using the Linksys for wireless on the laptop. You have two options. 1) Run cat5 ethernet cable to your desktops from the router 2) install wireless cards in the desktops, or 3) a one of each depending on the proximity to the router. Check your owner's manual for the WRT54G, it all be made clear to you (RTFM).

yes you can use the one router you have and buy linksys wireless adapters for the computers you want internet on. i recomend usb adaptors for the desktops and a wireless adaptor card for your laptop. also make sure the wireless adaptors are the same company as your router, this will save you a lot of headaches

there are 2 ways. First is to use a simple wireless network, which is perhaps the easiest and certainly the least cluttered.
The next way, more reliable, but more cluttered, is to use a router and connect each computer to itand then connect the router to your modem.
Both way will provide access to the internet to all 3 computers, it is just a matter of personal preference.

Just buy wireless adapters that connect to USB. No need to crack the cases open and plug in a card.
