I want out of it but if i stop being in it they will make my life horrible, + ill have no friends

The people in the group i'm in our super mean. They will punch someone if they don't move from our lunch table.I don't like being so girly and stuff. I don't want to be popular. I wanna be me you no. But the thing is I have friends that arnt like that and not popular, but if I leave them then they'll be in the group, the leader of the group even said that. What do I do?!?!?!?!

make friends with some of the less popular people and then eventually you might slip out of the popular group.

I've been there. I was in the "popular group" for a long time. But it's not the way to go. Some of the choices I made while in that group impacted my life. Groups like that lead to sex, drugs, partying, alcohol, etc. Only trouble. It's worth not having many friends, or just have a handful of close friends.

While you're still in the popular group, talk to more people who aren't. Make other friends and hang out with them more and more. Eventually you'll sort of fall out of the popular group. If the popular people do make your life miserable (I don't think they will...) then just tell a parent or other adult or someone like that. Good Luck!!!

i totally get how you feel.
all you have to do is be brave. if you hate being popular than leave i know it seems hard but after you do it you will feel great. dont b scared of whats gonna happen because you don't know, just take the risk and you'll c the great benefit of leaving. and if your friends r gonna join the popular group after u leave then they r not your friends, dont wont ull easily find some new good friends.

if you hate it so much then theres gotta be a reason. if that reason is worth them making your life horrible for maybe one school year; do what makes you feel right.and if you cant handle them making you miserable; remind them of things they dont want others to know; im sure you know something.... blackmail always works.
and trust me; if you leave the popular group there are other people out there who will be your friend.

You don't know that. You should start making friends outside the group. These people aren't your friends anyway. Start reaching out to the more unpopular kids; you might be surprised and find a real friend

u hate it now with friends!become a leader of the current group .and direct them back to the "regular people" Ur group will splinter but that's good .at least u can act out of friendship and compassion!

Thats not true not everyone will hate you the same thing happened to me. Just leave youll meet new people but dont like walk up to them and say hey i dont want to be your friend anymore just go about your life youll meet new people who can be really good friends.

wow. those girlie girls are ick... i cnt believe they wud punch someone. maybe, stay in the group, but on the weekend make plans with your other friends, so the mean people dont know. good luck!

"Popular" just simply means you have lots of friends!! if you have friends ur popular to ur friends!! Just hang out with a different group of people!!
