The main reason you send short messages...?

Are you talking about text messaging?
I do it all the time. It's good when you have to tell someone something & they really can't talk at that particular moment.
And sometimes I have to do it now before I forget, otherwise I won't remember to tell the other person.... If I know that they are at work or otherwise indisposed, texting is more practical. They can get it when they check. & it's easier to retrieve text messages than it is to retrieve voicemail....at least on my cellphone!
Or sometimes my friends & I like to send each other crazy pics or something just for the shock value! ;-)

i do not send messages on my cell phone but i would imagine the reason why people send short messages is because of the price of texting. good luck.

Because it is not comfortable typing on the phone. My fingers hurt. Plus I have to think so much before typing to make my msg short but still carry the right meaning. I love receiving texts though :-)).

it's hard to type on the cell phone cuz each letter doesn't have it's own key lol. and also u can type the shorter message's faster and your not wasting soo much time.

so I don't get caught in tiresome conversation when I'm in a hurry. Or if I wanna let my hubby know I'm thinking about him while he's working or in class.
