I'm a cheep kinda girl, but willing to pay more for something that will LAST ME. I'm 19, 5'9", and have an average/willowy build.
I've picked up things everywhere from, Plato's Closet, Thift Stores, Target, Walmart, JCPenny's, Old Navy, Aeropostal....

Words that discribe me =comfortable, casual, boho, vintage, modest, stylish, sometimes dressy.

**NEW** Store/shopping suggestions?
(online is out, since I'm big on trying things on for the perfect fit first)

Okay, you sound a LOT like me, so hopefully I can be of some help. Here's your (lengthy, but hopefully helpful) guide

1. The Stores:
The stores you have already mentioned are great-cheap prices, adorable clothes, and long lasters. Target, Walmart,
JCpenney's and Aeropostale are my personal favorite. I've heard Wetseal has a LOT of cute comfy 'basics' and styles, but if you're going for something more classy, cutting-edge, and way 'in', try Forever 21. They have lots of clothes for cheap prices! You may also want to occasionally check out the clearance section at Hollister, because you'll be surprised at some of their mark downed prices! Academy is also another one of my favorites, not just for sporting clothes.

2.The Tips

-Lets face it, it is really not smart to buy something thats even slightly tight, because you're going to out grow it quickly. When you look at a piece of clothing, relate it to your body type etc before even start liking it. Do this for two reasons. One, if it doesn't fit, you'll be dissapointed. Two, it may not look great at meets-the-eye, but it may just look scorching and flattering on you. Think to yourslef, 'Hmm, is this something I'll wear often? Is it my style? Does it look comfy, yet in style? Does it emphasize on something I don't want emphasized?' After asking yourself these questions, go ahead and try it on. After trying it on, pose in front of the changing room mirror. does it look really good? Do you think its comfy? Things like that. Make sure you also check any article of clothing for rips and 'smells' before buying it!

-Don't go straight to the expensive clothes. You'll be super surprised at what you find in the clearance.

-Take a freind, older sister/cousin, boyfriend or whatever with you. They'll be able to honestly suggest what to buy!

Hope this comes in handy! =D

I have the perfect place for you! Try H & M! If there isn't one near you, look online. They have some cute baby doll spring/summer dresses, fashionable over sized chloe look alike tote bags and flirty and fun tees, tanks and skirts. I would describe there clothing to be hip, indie/urban style which I think would be perfect for you!

Try something simple as far as clothing and accentuate with large vibrant (yellow) colored tote bags and cute bracelets. Match it up with some flats or prep it up with some summer sandles or laced up wedged shoes.

For something a little pricey but woth the while, I would try looking at Buckle (they usually have good sales), Urban Outfitters to get a unique style. Or American Eagle to get some pretty cheap cute tops and sandles.

Good Luck!

FOREVER 21. its cheap, on average, a cute shirt is btwn 5 and 25 dollars. i get SOOO much there! they have all the latest styles and definitely boheimian/stylish/dressy clothes. not so much vintage. for real hard core vintage thats cheap, go to a thrift store. i can always find something at a thrift store. hope this helps!

Wetseal
Ross
Macy's
Papaya
Sometimes these stores may have a few items that are high in price, but they almost always have a huge, aswome sale where the coolest clothes are!
Probably out of those, my fave is Ross and Wetseal!
Wetseal has a website just to let ya know!

I like Kohls and H&M. Also, Target's Go Internation for Target line (featuring designers like Luella and Paul and Joe) is really nice. And I love Urban Outfitters, which isn't exactly cheap but still pretty reasonable. And they have AWESOME sales!

You are wise to "try before you buy".
There's a clothing store named "Dots" you may want to try.
They have fashionble clothes at prices you'll like. The quality isn't that great but
for trends that come & go so quickly it might be worth your effort.
