Yes, he is. He won last election because we didn't have anything remotely resembling a viable opposition. The Conservatives (main opposition party, right-leaning) were fronted by a nutcase who looked like Dracula, and the Liberal Democrats just weren't strong enough to be a genuine opposition.

The new Conservative leader, David cameron, has pushed his party towards the centre ground, basically eradicating all differences between the parties. he has a ten-point lead in the opinion polls at the moment. He doesn't actually have any policies, but we're all so fed up with Tony Blair that anyone will do.

It's not just the war with Blair; it's also his unpopular ID card schemes, and the dreadful state of institutions such as the NHS and the London Underground.

Very, especially in England, however he keeps in power by using the Scottish, Welsh, and some of the Northern Ireland votes which return more MP's per head of population than England. If you are a Yank then he will probably be living in your country soon, just to get away from the disaster here and to be in receipt of the pension that Bush will have granted him.

I feel that Tony Blair is extremely unpopular at this moment in time. We are being ripped off with environmental issues, spending too much time fighting and he has involved himself for too long on that War. Also, the people are fed-up with being Over taxed! Its all a back-door tax, sideways tax , rip the people off for anything they can tax you for!!!
