Yeah right. And when you freeze food, the calories freeze to death, too, so ice cream has no calories. And a diet soda will cancel out a pound of chocolate-chip cookies. If you eat more calories than you use up, you will gain weight, whether you are on your period or not. And you are not using more calories simpoly because you are on your period, the blood you are losing has been "made" before your period starts, and the "extra" calories that go into that process are used up neatly throughout the month. So, sorry, but you'll just have to put the double whopper with cheese down.

I've never heard that before and I don't think that is true...if you eat alot during that time of the month than I'm sure you'll gain weight unless you have a very high metabolism

Usually you don't gain weight unless you eat alot. Most of the time it is just water weight.

You don't necessarily gain weight, but you can retain water making you feel bloated, and seeming like you have gained weight.

no, it's not true if your eating an entire tub of ice cream...... people don't understand, if you don't want to gain weight, stop eating crap and get outside for some exercise!!! Put some work into it and stop looking for the easy way out.

That is not true. If not, it could be the opposite. When you are on your period a lot of women get cravings and they tend to eat more at that time. Remember, every women's body is different.

Yeah, that's right. At least that's the excuse I give myself for eating a pint of icecream.
