My school is having a 90's dance, because we all grew up in the 90's. I never noticed the clothing I was too busy playing pogs or collecting pokemon cards. What were some fashions of the 90's?

Well I am a female, graduated high school in 97.
We wore anything from belly shirts to flannels, from polo (button up shirts) shirts to plain ol' t-shirts, sometimes we'd even wear those nice polo shirts underneath nice sweaters, sometimes we'd wear sweatshirts, sometimes, we'd just wear nice sweaters. Regarding jeans, so long as they weren't tapered, stone washed, completely cut up, or had the french roll, they were virtually okay.

Think Nirvana. Seattle grunge scene flannel shirts, open over a t-shirt. Jeans with the cuffs tucked and rolled. Timberland "sh*t-kicker" boots or black Doc Martens.
That was pretty much the early to mid 90's anyway. And yes, that look can be worn by a guy or a girl - it sort of covered everyone. LOL!
