I think Charlie is a pretty cool name because it makes your daughter stand out. Just be prepared for the repercussions of giving a girl a boys name. out of human nature, someone is going to ask how your son is doing or worse, is it a boy or a girl. If they see the baby and still ask, just walk away. I have a son named Angel who is 3 and I still get that. Just go with what makes you comfortable, and be happy.

I like it. I am naming my daughter Sadie, and a lot of people don't like that name, but it means something, and that is what I was going for. Charlie is a great girl's name

I think that is a very cute name for a girl. I picture a cute, rosy cheek, strawberry blond girl with a big smile and pig tails! I like it much better than Charlene (no offense to anyone with that name). I'm curious what middle name you put with it?

Charlie seems fine. Don't worry too much about what others think. Be happy with your choice, she's your baby not anyone elses.

I think it is cute for a nick-name, but not for her real name. How about a more feminine name like charlotte and then shorten it to her nick name for everyday use?
