Okay, I'm in Algebra and we haven't even studied this yet. So is this basically another write in scientific notation think which I would write as: 2.5 X 10^-2? or what would I write?if I'm thinking wrong.

in 1 mole of helium there are 6.022 * 10^23 helium atoms.

(↑that number is called Avogadro's number)

so multiply 0.025 * 6.022*10^23 = 0.15055 * 10^23= 1.51*10^22 helium atoms

Ok, your question is about the atomic mass of Helium, but your question details are about Standard Index Form in Mathematics. I'll answer them both.
The Maths question: 2.5 x 10^-2 equals 0.025
The Science question is a bit stupid and it might be a misprint - unless I understood Wikipedia wrong! 1 Mole of Helium is about 4.003 grams, So 0.025 grams is going to make a damn small number, which I think is about:
0.006245316012990257307019735198601
which is stupid. Please, another user, help me out on this one.

Hope that helps,
Simon H

EDIT: The guy above me seems to know what he's talking about.
