Which country supports the most overrated team in the world? I for one think is there no other team that gets more hype is USA! we suck! why do american supporters think were going to win anything! we are garbage!

USA is a gifted team in that they have a lot of potential and untapped talent. Look at world cup 2002, where they got very far; even in world cup 2006 they tied Italy, the world champions. USA has to work on their technical ability, because they tend to make a lot of silly mistakes and that costs them games that they should not have lost in the first place. The team needs better organization, a better manager, and they really have to believe in themselves. They think they are so bad, but in reality they are very good and can get far in events. I think if team USA takes care of the loose ends they can be an elite team, in the ranks of England at least. This, and the fact that the American public needs to take more interest in football. That's the easiest way to get quality players --- to generate interest in the game , which I think Beckham is setting out to do starting this summer.

I support the USA, but I also know that we suck. I get excited if we win but I think the average USA fan knows that we suck that's why we get excited when we win. Its hyped more because they are trying to gain attention to drive more people and money into the sport over here.

It probably has something to do with the fact that America is so successful in so many other sports that they just get a lot of respect in soccer, despite their lack of accomplishment lately.
There is so little interest in soccer in America that the best athletes all turn to other sports - namely, football, basketball, baseball and hockey. Soccer is really only still alive in America because it is an easy sport for children to play and so some still grow up playing it. All you need is a field, a ball and some goals. Then let the kids run around and chase the ball around.

I think the USA is overrated here in the US, but elsewhere in the world I think people make the USA out to be worse than they actually are. So, overrated in the US and in our surrounding areas, but underrated in most places overseas.

no..they just dont wanna watch anything else accept NFL!!!
its sucks....but its their choise...i like NFL...NEpat.
but not that much as i like soccer....
But USA team is really cool in this moment
