A pirate wench doesn't need a corset or bodice. My friend went to a pirate party last year and wore the following:
Gauchos/knee length shorts, black knee high boots, white peasant blouse, a scarf or sash around the waist, a pirate hat (or bandana). Oh. And 1 hoop earring. Tada! Pirate.
