I haven't watched American Idol since it first came out a few years ago. But my teacher asked me why we Indians are voting for him, so I decided to look him up. He isn't a HORRIBLE singer...

I can understand why you haven't watched it since you obviously have little taste. He is horrific..the worst of the bunch. He's only still on because there is a group of people (that is growing daily )that call to vote for him because he's the worst and it is funny.

horrible no, but I'm not a horrible singer either. Simply, he is not good enough to be among the singers he is grouped with now and many better singers have been sent away. He has been "adopted" by the "vote for the worst" website that keeps him in when his talent isnt enough. That builds resentment from people for the sake of his situation not being fair to more talented people. Granted, its not his fault, but that generally doesn't matter to the public. On a side note, his sister is incredibly beautiful, guess we have that going for him.

Because people are so conditioned to spoiled perfection, they beg for junk like American Idol and Coyote Ugly to judge people by.
Stop watching network TV before you become like that too.
Read a book, play sports, get a hobby. STOP watching American Idol or any other reality show.

If your teacher asked that to you she should be fired! "why are "you" Indians voting for him?" What kind of question is that?! That is like saying why did you Germans go along with Hitler. Not just "Indians" vote for him. I bet a lot of tweens are the ones voting for him bec he is "cute" and "safe" . If your teacher realy said it that way she could be in big trouble! And no he isnt terrible but he shouldn't still be there over some of the other people who who got kicked off.

Reasons why we don't like Sanjaya:
1. Idol kicked his sister off when he's more feminine than her.
2. He lacks stage presence.
3. He never should've made it into the Top 12.
4. He looks like a hemaphrodite.
5. Some people may not like him because he's Indian and this is...American Idol!

They are not mean to him. He just sucks big time.. yeah he is not a horrible singer but his voice is not strong and demanding enough.. I think he is wasting a spot that could have been given to somebody else. And.. I also think we are all confused by his sexuality.. hula dancing? come on!
